Faces and Connections Larock-Granoff
For its debut at the Parcours des Mondes, Galerie Larock-Granoff will be showing an ensemble of African and Oceanic tribal artworks.
These objects will be presented alongside works by artists like Miro, Chagall, Ozenfant, Rouault, Saura, Messagier and Duvillier. The juxtaposition will help us understand that the modern painters were dealing with the same questions as the African and Oceanic sculptors of over 100 years ago in the processes of artistic creation and particularly with regards to facial expressions.
