Galerie Afrique opened in 1974 in Ramatuelle on the Saint Tropez peninsula. Since then, it has presented a thematic exhibition devoted to the antique Sub-Saharan arts of Africa every summer. A few kilometers from Paris, a new exhibition space in Saint-Maur enables us to present a new show of hitherto unseen sculptures every month. Along with traditional works of major African sculpture, we show a selection of important ethnographic objects including ornaments, pottery, currencies, textiles, weapons and furniture, all rigorously selected for their aesthetic quality and age. We are confident you will find us worth visiting during your next stay in Paris.
