Sanne Nies from the Netherlands grew up in an artists’ family and she herself is a painter. In 2002 she started a gallery in contemporary and tribal arts in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. For a number of years now, the gallery’s primary focus is on African Arts. She is a member of Bruneaf/Cultures Brussels and joins PAN Amsterdam. In Paris she will exhibit pieces with an artistic signature. An exquisite Lobi figure reminiscent of Rodin’s Thinker; an endearing  piece of a small Lobi mother and child; an Atie figure like no other; a large beautiful Bobo mask with incredibly strong lines ; and a Dan-Guerre mask from the collection of a Swedish Cobra painter [exhibited in the Louisiana museum in Humlebaek, Denmark].
