Michael Evans is originally a native of Auckland New Zealand and received a master’s degree in art history from Auckland University. He has more than 15 years experience in the business of fine art and has worked with a number of dealers in New Zealand, Great Britain, and the United States. In 2005 he branched out and started dealing exclusively in tribal art, specializing in Oceanic art and 19th-century photography of native peoples from the South Pacific. Currently Michael participates in a number of international art fairs, including Parcours des Mondes, The Burgundy Tribal Show, and TAF Amsterdam.
